SHOWCASE BIG EVENT PRESENTED BY PIONEER POLE BUILDINGS TUESDAY, JUNE 13 AT GRANDVIEW

- The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series presented by Pioneer Pole Buildings will host the AMSOIL USAC National Non-Wing Sprints in opening night of the Eastern Storm, Tuesday night, June 13 at the Grandview Speedway, Bechtelsville, PA
- AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Series is highlighted with the $6,000 to win Jesse Hockett Classic plus the 358 NASCAR Modifieds doing battle in a 30 lap $3,000 to win main event.
- Gates open at 5 PM, Racing begins with qualifying at 7:30 PM
- This event will mark the 75th USAC Non-Wing Sprint event presented in Berks County.
- The first three USAC events were won by Tommy Hinnershitz of Oley, PA at the Reading Fairgrounds in April, June and September of 1956
- PPB has a $2,000 bonus for any first time 358 Modified Thunder on the Hill feature winner. A first time winner will earn $5,000 for 30 laps.
- Clever Girl Winery of Bangor, PA has a $350 bonus for the USAC Sprint fast time qualifier.
- GT Radiator Repairs has an additional $100 for 358 Modified Heat and Consolation winners.
- Brady Bacon has a total of five Thunder on the Hill victories.
- Brady Bacon is the defending winner of this event.
- One lap track record for USAC at Grandview is held by Kevin Thomas Jr, with a time of 12.970 established on June 5, 2012.

Advance tickets for the Tuesday, June 13 event are available by calling 443 513 4456. Please speak clearly and provide your first and last name and the number of tickets you need. Tickets may be paid for and picked up at the WILL CALL window on race night. Advance ticket holders may enter the grandstands at 4:30 PM. Advance tickets orders can be processed up to the day before the race. We apologize, but advance tickets will NOT be available on race day. Adult admission tickets are $30, children 6 to 11 are $10 and children 5 and under will be admitted free. The Pit fee is $40 and a license is not required.
