Sunday, May 30, 2021 . . . . . . It is with great disappointment that the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series and Grandview Speedway are cancelling their racing program tonight due to excessive rainfall over the past several days and a forecast of additional rain into the evening. The grounds are extremely saturated and the damp and cold weather would not offer comfortable conditions for race fans or competitors. The Triple Roaring 20’s had an entry list of forty-nine modifieds and an expected thirty sportsman entries. The Triple Roaring 20’s and Sportsman is again on the Thunder Series schedule on Saturday, October 16 at 6 PM. A special thank you goes out to all the competitors who pre-entered and the number of fans that requested advance tickets. This event has certainly become a favorite race for competitors and fans.

The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will continue on Tuesday night, June 15 with the return of the USAC Storm in the 40 lap Jesse Hockett Classic paying $6,000 to win. This event is a point race on the USAC National Sprint Car Tour. The 358 Modifieds will join the racing program with USAC and the event will get underway at 7:30.

Just a two weeks later on Tuesday, June 29, the Pennsylvania 410 Sprint Speed Week Series will come to the Hill for the $10,000 to win Hodnett Cup joined by the 358 Modifieds. Race time is set for 7:30 PM.

Advance tickets for both shows are available by calling 443 513 4456. Please speak clearly and provide your first and last name and the number of tickets you need. Please be sure to state if your ticket request is for the June 15 USAC show or the June 29 410 Sprint Speed Week event. You may pick-up your tickets and pay for them on race night at the Will Call Window at 4:30 PM. Advance tickets orders can be processed up to the day before the race. We apologize, but advance tickets will NOT be available to request advance tickets on race day. For advance ticket purchases we ask that you please bring exact change as it will help keep the line moving. You may enter the grandstands after purchasing your advance tickets. General admission tickets go on sale at 5 PM. Tickets for both events are $30 for adults, $10 for children 6 to 11 and kids five and under will be admitted for free. The pit fee is $40 and a license is not required.

On Tuesday night, June 15, Broken Arrow, OK driver Brady Bacon will be looking to score his fifth consecutive win at a Thunder on the Hill event. Bacon and 410 sprint car star Greg Hodnett both had four wins in a row at Grandview.
